It appears as though the national champion Georgia football team has been invited to the White House to celebrate its 15–0 campaign this past season. However, there appears to be some confusion regarding the invitation.
On Wednesday night, a White House official told the Athens Banner-Herald, “The President looks forward to welcoming the Georgia Bulldogs to the White House.”
But that same night, a Bulldogs spokesperson told the Banner-Herald, “We have not heard from the White House at this point.”
