People living in a Glasgow community held a 'whip round' to allow a local family to get their electricity back on.
The shock revelation was made by Alex O'Kane, who runs Facebook group No1Seems2Care, concerning a Glasgow family who were 'in the dark' after being left with no money to pay for their energy bills.
The activist was speaking after launching a campaign calling for government action to curb the rise in youth violence in the city centre.
