Fuel prices have hit a new record high this month as the cost of oil soars, with the average price for petrol at the pump now reaching around 150p per litre according to the latest figures.
Petrol prices make for grim reading at the moment, with prices at some smaller stations comfortable topping 160p per litre. However, even though some garages are that high, prices at supermarket petrol stations remain below 150.
We've taken a look at the latest prices of fuel from around three cities in south Wales — Cardiff, Swansea and Newport — where it's currently the supermarkets who seem to be offering the best deals. All prices were found on the Fuel Price Map at Petrolprices.com and are accurate as of March 7, 2022.
