Prince Harry is keeping on top of the news agenda as he sits down for interviews ahead of the release of his memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex’s TV appearances began with that controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey a year after he and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, departed the Royal Family.
The couple’s bombshell interview with the legendary TV personality caused headlines across the globe. The Sussexes discussed Meghan’s mental health struggle, their early relationship, wedding and the fallout with Harry’s family.
Following that, news broke that the couple would be releasing their own Netflix docuseries, which was released in early December. Now, ahead of the release of his tell-all memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex has sat down for a number of interviews in the UK and US, here’s where you can watch them.
Oprah with Harry and Meghan
In this 2021 interview, TV legend Oprah Winfrey sat down with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their first on-screen interview since the couple announced their engagement in 2017. The Sussexes divulged details about their early relationship and their wedding day; Meghan opened up about her mental health struggles during her first pregnancy, including experiencing suicidal thoughts; and the pair criticised the monarchy as an institution over its relationship with the press.

Harry & Meghan
This six-part docuseries was the first look into the behind the scenes of the Sussex family. The in depth interview saw the couple shared stories about how they met and their early dates, to the trouble with the Royal family and their dealings with the media.

Harry: The Interview
The Duke’s interview with ITV News at Ten’s Tom Bradby was the first to be announced and the first to air. In it, Prince Harry discusses revelations made in his memoir, Spare, including that he was physically assaulted by his brother, the Prince of Wales, and that he tried drugs including cocaine and cannabis as a teenager.
Where to watch: The 90-minute broadcast will be available on ITVX
CBS’ 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper
Harry’s interview with Anderson Cooper clocked in at just over half an hour. He is said to have touched on many similar topics to that of the ITV interview, with the biggest revelations appearing to be the opinions the Duke has, or had, about Camilla, the Queen Consort, referring to her as “the third person” in the marriage, in reference to the claim made in Princess Diana’s explosive 1995 Panorama interview.
Where to watch: So far there is no confirmed place to watch the show in the UK. There are claims that it will be available on Paramount Plus, however, it is believed that this is only on the American version of the streaming service and not on the British version.
Good Morning America
Forming NFL star and regular anchor Michael Stahan will take the helm of Harry’s sit-down with Good Morning America. In a promotional video, Prince Harry says: "I don't think we can have peace with my family unless the truth is out there." He also rules out any return to the UK as a working royal, admitting that it would be made “unsurvivable”
Where to watch: ABC is unavailable in the UK, however, it is claimed that the interview may be available to stream on Hulu, though this is unconfirmed. Clips are available on YouTube and on the Good Morning America website.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
The final interview announced so far is perhaps one of the most shocking, as Harry is set to join host Stephen Colbert on his Late Show. The Duke will appear on the show tomorrow (January 10), the official publication date of his memoir, at 10:35pm in the US.
Where to watch: Like the other US shows, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is not broadcast in the UK. Reports claim that it will be available on Paramount Plus but this is not confirmed for the British version of the streaming site. Clips will be available on YouTube.
