Where to find the Wayshrine Key in Resident Evil 4 remake

The Wayshrine key cannot be found until a fair way into the village section of the Resident Evil 4 remake, meaning players will need to push forward and backtrack to the Wayshrines later. After reaching the lake and defeating Del Lago, Chapter 4 will begin with Leon attempting to locate a nearby shrine.

After following the objective marker and docking the boat at the Boat House, Leon will find himself in the Mural Cave. But if players follow the path onwards, they will find a box sitting in a shrine to the right of a boat dock.

Interact with the box to find the Old Wayshrine Key and add it to the inventory. This key can be used to open every Wayshrine in the village, meaning Leon can now retrace his steps and collect some valuable treasures scattered around the map.

Luckily, the Wayshrines are easily identifiable on the map thanks to their distinctive marker, making them easy to find. Once players have collected the treasures from every Wayshrine they should sell the key to The Merchant for some extra cash, as it becomes useless after leaving the village.
