Children in Need will be making a comeback this year on the BBC.
While there are a wide variety of ways you can help to support the charity, one of the simplest is buying its official merchandise. Children in Need first launched on November 21, 1980, and has since become a staple on annual British television.
This year's event will see a flurry of iconic TV favourites and celebrities host and participate in a variety of activities on the programme on Friday, November 18, to help raise funds for the charity.

Where to buy Children in Need merchandise
The BBC has an online Children in Need shop which provides a wide range of feel-good merchandise. All the funds from purchases will go towards helping the charity in its activities.
On the Children in Need shop, you will be able to spot a variety of eye-catching merchandise. Including the classic Pudsey ears that are fixed to a bright yellow headband.
The Children in Need 2022 t-shirt, featuring a Pudsey head on a colourful patterned background, is available in black. You can also purchase Pudsey-themed mugs, keyrings, pin badges and many more items.
Supermarket Asda also has a range of Children in Need merchandise you can get your hands on. The retailer has a huge range of clothing on sale including the official t-shirt in yellow and black, a Pudsey monochrome cardigan, socks, slippers and a sequin design t-shirt.
Appeal night will take place on November 18 and will be presented by some very familiar faces such as Ade Adepitan, Mel Giedroyc, Christ Ramsey, Alex Scott, and Jason Manford.
A wide variety of events will take place, including Blankety Blank with children taking over alongside contestants Maisie SMith and John Waite as well as The Repair Shop which will share the story behind a special restoration with the results being shown on the BBC Children in Need stage.
