Burnley remain favourites with bookmakers to win the Championship and gain promotion into the Premier League this term.
The Clarets are currently third in the table but have lost just once in 16 league matches under Vincent Kompany. They are the 9/4 favourites with bet365 to clinch the title this term while they are also the 8/11 favourites to gain promotion in any capacity.
Swansea City rose up to fourth courtesy of their 2-0 triumph over Cardiff City on Sunday. Goals from Ollie Cooper and Michael Obafemi saw Russell Martin's side taste victory for the sixth time in seven outings to ensure they reached their highest position under the current coaching staff.
But they are still only the 6/1 eighth-favourites to gain promotion into the top flight while they are the 20/1 seventh-favourites to win the league. As for Cardiff - who now find themselves in 20th place following a third successive defeat under Mark Hudson - they are way back at 25/1 to be promoted and 100/1 to top the table come the end of the campaign.
Sheffield United, Norwich City and Watford are among the sides bookmakers expect to challenge at the business end of the table while Huddersfield Town, Hull City and Wigan Athletic are the teams being tipped for relegation into League One.
