Where have all the mosquitoes gone? Parts of the US are seeing a huge drop — and that has experts worried

Pesky mosquitoes seem unavoidable in summer but may not be - in parts of the United States, at least.

Mosquito levels are down 50 percent across some western and Midwest states including Minnesota and North Dakota this year. In Colorado, levels could have plunged up to 70 percent.
