It’s been 11 years since the Newcastle reality TV show graced our screens for the first time.
The series was broadcast on MTV and was the UK’s answer to MTV’s US based reality show “Jersey Shore”.
The show saw hopeful singles live together as house mates for 8 weeks, while drinking, partying and hooking up surrounded by drama and antics that caused a stir.

Viewers were drawn in by the original cast members, Gaz Beadle, Charlotte Crosby, Scott Timlin - 'Scotty T', Holly Hagan, Vicky Pattinson, Sophie Kasaei, James Tindale, and Marnie Simpson.
So, what have the cast been up to since the show’s inception?
From babies, getting plastic surgery, becoming millionaires, and joining Only Fans, here’s what the cast have been up to.
Vicky Pattinson
Vicky was a fan favourite on Geordie Shore and has a successful career in TV, fitness, and even became a published author.
Her strong and witty one-liners and her no-nonsense attitude helped her become the most popular character in MTV’s reality show ‘Geordie Shore,’ in which she appeared for a staggering eight series.
The outspoken Vicky, was chosen from among thousands of participants for the controversial show, and was an immediate hit.
Vicky’s catchphrase "tash on" became a new entry in the online Collins dictionary.
The Wallsend native has had a number of successful endorsements since the show..
Pattison won the fifteenth series of I'm a Celebrity in December 2015 and became a permanent member on the panel of the ITV daytime chat show Loose Women in 2016.
She has had number one books, a chart-topping fitness DVD, appearances on MTV show Ex on the Beach, her own nutrition, fashion and jewellery ranges, hit solo show Judge Geordie, Loose Women and I'm A Celeb spin off Extra Camp.
She has over 5 million followers on Instagram, and has reported net worth of £4.2million.
Charlotte Crosby
Charlotte, 32, is a familiar face and has had a successful career in reality tv.
The Sunderland native has come a long way from making nightclub appearances and went on to win Celebrity Big Brother in 2011, after first appearing in Geordie Shore where she had a volatile relationship with co-star Gaz Beadle.
The show’s success and CBB win led to her getting her own TLC show, The Charlotte Crosby Experience.
The star had received good GCSE and A-Level results, and initially planned on studying criminology at university.
Since then she has appeared on a number of other popular ITV shows, including Britain’s Got More Talent, Xtra Factor and Celebrity Juice.
Charlotte also presented Just Tattoo Of Us with her ex, Stephen Bear.
Alongside her thriving tv career, Charlotte tried her hand at breaking into the fitness industry.
She released a record breaking exercise DVD 3 Minute Belly Blitz.
Charlotte had three series of her hit programme, The Charlotte Show, with her ex boyfriend Josh Ritchie.
Fast forward to 2022, and Charlotte is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jake Ankers, and is the proud owner of two mansions.
In 2016, Charlotte nearly lost her life after going through a devastating ectopic pregnancy.
She is back on Geordie Shore for the reunion, saying: “I always said I would be up for taking part in a reunion show and made no secret that Geordie Shore holds a special place in my heart. I’m very excited to reconnect and reminisce with my favourite people and life-long friends.”
As of 2022 it is thought her fortune is around the £2million mark.
Gaz “Garry” Beadle
Gaz appeared as a member of the OG cast of Geordie Shore, and was known for his string of flings and his turbulent on-off relationship with ex Charlotte.
Gaz ventured into fashion, after launching his menswear clothing line called ’11 Degrees’ and is the owner of ‘Pure Beach Club’ in Zante, Greece.
After appearing in several TV shows, he became a cast member for two seasons in ‘Ex on the Beach’ and thereafter started his own show called "Spring Break with Grandad".
He has also made several guest appearances in other TV shows such as ‘Drunk History’, ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’, ‘Safewood’ and ‘Britain’s Got More Talent’.
He made the news in 2017 after being turned away from New Zealand after failing to meet necessary visa requirements.
Gaz is currently engaged to model Emma McVeigh and the couple share two children, and reside in Yorkshire.
It is reported that his net worth is over £4million.
Scott Timlin - 'Scotty T'
Scotty T, 34, appeared in Geordie Shore where he was known for developing a reputation as a womaniser.
In 2015, Scott performed with the male stripping troupe Dreamboys doing guest appearances alongside fellow Geordie Shore cast member Gaz Beadle.
Newcastle native Scott won Celebrity Big Brother early in 2016, and appeared in a pantomime in Christmas the same year.
He even had a cameo in iconic Aussie soap Neighbours that same year before releasing his autobiography A Shore Thing.
He was axed from Geordie Shore in 2018, due to being photographed snorting a substance and has cited the show as the cause of his drug use.
Scott joined Charlotte and James for a podcast where the trio reflected on their time on Geordie Shore.
Scott joined Only Fans in 2018, and now posts explicit content on the adult site.
Holly Hagan
Holly, 29, has been busy since appearing on the show with a fashion line and a release.
The star is from Thornaby-on-Tees, and at first the cast didn’t take to her, because they didn’t think she was “a real Geordie.”
Holly was subjected to bullying online while starring on the show and Facebook pages were set up to harass her.
Holly is also ambassador of anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label.
The reality star went on to be fan favourite and was at the top of the book charts with her biography, “Not Quite A Geordie”.
In recent years, she has done glamour modelling, and appeared on the covers of both FHM and Nuts and had a popular fashion line for online retailers Lasula.
She even released a cover of Kelis' Milkshake.
The bombshell was engaged to footballer Jacob Blyth and it’s reported the pair secretly married in a lavish Ibiza wedding.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram to share the news and said: “Mr & Mrs.”
James Tindale
James, 31, shot to stardom with the rest of the cast, and was a calming influence, but had a heated scuffle with Gaz when the cast went to Australia.
Since the show, James has been working as a personal trainer and online fitness coach through his own company, and recently revealed on Instagram that he will now be taking part in new show AllStarShore.
He will join former co-star Chloe Ferry as they join other worldwide reality stars (including Joey Essex) head to the Canaries for fun and games.
Fans will remember that he was in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Kate Thorne for nearly five years, and left the show to work on his relationship with Kate, but the pair broke up.
Sophie Kasaei
South Shields girl Sophie, 32, left Geordie Shore in series 7 after allegedly being recorded making an offensive remark during filming, but returned in 2019 for the Big Birthday Battle.
Kasaei has made several appearances on the Geordie Shore spinoff, Ex on the Beach, Geordie Shore OGs and she has also appeared on Just Tattoo of Us in 2017 alongside ex-boyfriend Joel Corry.
Kasaei is cousins with former Geordie Shore co-star Marnie Simpson, and remains pals with Charlotte.
After leaving the show she started up clothing businesses Off The Rails boutique and House of SHB and launched her own hair care line - Mane London - which provides curly extensions for women with hair like hers.
Marnie Simpson
Marnie, 30, is Sophie’s cousin and was one of the youngest cast members on the show, where she had flings with Scotty T and Gaz.
Since the show, she has presented her own podcast through MTV called “Marnie’s Home Truths”, she interviewed Kerry Katona, and co-stars Chloe and Sophie.
Marnie appeared as one of the finalists in the Miss Newcastle competition in 2012.
Marnie also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where she came fourth.
The star stepped away from reality tv and launched her own contact lenses through Smart Vision.
The star has two children with former Union J member Casey Johnson, who she met on the show Single AF in 2017.
