The visionary director will reunite with superstar Jason Statham for the first time in 15 years, in this explosive revenge thriller.

Below we run through what we know so far about the film and the plot - with some minor spoilers ahead.

What is Wrath of Man about?

Statham's character is hired as a mysterious new employee - "H" - as a simple cash truck driver.

As he learns the ropes from Bullet (Holt McCallany), H initially appears to be quiet, but he and Bullet become the targets of an attempted robbery.

The raid on the armoured vehicle allows H to show his true colours.

H's true demeanour is revealed as his ruthless, fearless side shines - expect Statham taking out lots of bad guys.

The truth is H is an undercover crime boss.

The ex-military men plotting a heist worth millions failed to account for the wrath of H.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, who has an impressive number of films under his belt, expect gangs and thrilling fight sequences.

The action-packed movie has a 66% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Wrath of Man's source material

The film is based on the French movie Le Convoyeur, Wrath of Man and features a stellar lineup including Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett and Niamh Algar.
