The BBC has remained tight-lipped about who the United Kingdom will send.
Rumours have been circulating for weeks regarding who will be heading to Liverpool in May. After Sam Ryder broke a daunting mean streak in 2022, taking over from several acts that managed to receive a whopping "nil points", interest has finally been on the up again.
Sam walked away with the nation's highest placement in over two decades after winning the televote and landing second behind Ukraine. Since then, artists from around the country have expressed an explicit interest in the show but all signs are leading to one act.

Alt-pop rock princess Rina Sawayama is the current favourite to represent the UK after fans noticed some suspicious behaviour. A notably large gap in her touring schedule during Eurovision season and several heads of the contest following her on Instagram didn't go unnoticed.
She also recently teased her participation on TikTok, duetting with a fan explaining the theories while nodding in agreement. Ellie Goulding's name has also been tossed around after her management team, TaP Music, hopped on board to help the BBC choose an act.
Ben Mawson, manager at TaP Music, said Eurovision holds incredible potential for budding artists but admitted we may not have a name for quite some time. Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, he said: "Britain has a great track record of making amazing pop music and we should be doing as well as possible. Eurovision is not simple... but it's not as political as people think."
The UK's Eurovision act is usually announced on BBC Radio 1 but the station, Tap Music, and the BBC are yet to even hint at when we can expect a reveal. By looking at the period of time previous entries were announced, we can hope for a reveal around late February or early March.
