News of Jim Harbaugh’s return to professional football hit both the college football and NFL world like a whirlwind on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Chargers themselves signaled that Harbaugh would be their coach with a hilarious Twitter video reminiscent of a pope’s selection.
Now, as the Chargers move forward, there’s probably one underlying burning question: When will Harbaugh’s Chargers face off against his brother John’s Baltimore Ravens? The last we saw the two Harbaugh siblings square off as coaches was during Super Bowl 47, where the Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers.
And we won’t have to wait long for a “rematch” of sorts.
The Ravens are currently scheduled to visit the Chargers at some point during the 2024 season. The exact date has not yet been locked in, but given the star power of the Harbaugh brothers, Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert, and the backdrop of another potential Ravens Super Bowl victory this February, you can probably pencil in that game for primetime.
In other words, another “Har-Bowl” is just around the corner.
