The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a level three cold alert in response to "severe winter weather" which may bring with it a chance of snow across England.
A Met Office warning for snow and ice has also been issued on Tuesday morning across Greater Manchester until 12pm tomorrow, with road conditions expected to be affected. It adds that all of England will continue to experience cold weather until 9am on Friday.
Forecasters have also warned that "snow showers and icy stretches may bring some disruption" which could lead to longer journeys for commuters throughout the week. Because of this, drivers and cyclists are being urged to take care and keep an eye out for icy patches on untreated parts of road.
