NEW DELHI: In India's ICC World Cup semi-final against New Zealand at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front after opting to bat first. He once again infused that fearless approach to India's game with a 29-ball 47, after which it was Virat Kohli who made the game his own with a record-breaking 50th ODI century.
Kohli went past Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 hundreds in 50-over internationals, and to do that in the presence of Tendulkar at his home ground made the occasion even bigger.
