Newcastle United now know when they will be able to sign players for the 2023/24 campaign. The curtain came down on their season at Chelsea on Sunday with a 1-1 draw that confirmed their fourth-place finish.
All eyes will now be on the summer and what Newcastle United can do in the transfer maket. Eddie Howe is expected to be given funds to strengthen the team after qualifying for the Champions League.
The summer 2023 window will open on Wednesday, June 14 and will close at 11pm BST on Friday, September 1.

Meanwhile, the winter window will open on Monday, January 1, 2024, and will close at 11pm GMT on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
In a statement on the Premier League website, the decision to close the windows on the first day of September and February were explained.
The Premier League said: "To ensure harmonisation with the major leagues in Europe, the closing dates were set following discussions with the EFL, DFL, Serie A, LaLiga and LFP, who will all close their Summer and Winter windows on 1 September and 1 February respectively."
Newcastle have already been linked with interest in a number of players, but the three carrying the most weight are James Maddison, Kieran Tierney and Harvey Barnes.
