Get ready for your return trip to the city where animals rule in "Zootopia 2." Disney’s long-awaited sequel to the 2016 animated romp is finally here, and it's a massive hit. Buddy cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are back on a new case that pushes them beyond the familiar streets of Zootopia and into a mystery with much bigger stakes, and audiences can't get enough.
If you’ve been counting down the days to the next adventure with Judy and Nick, you’re probably already wondering when you’ll be able to stream it. Movie tickets can get pricey, especially when you take the whole family. Which leads us to an important question: When can you watch "Zootopia 2" at home?
Lucky for you, we can answer that question. We can also tell you when you'll be able to stream the animated blockbuster on Disney+ as part of your streaming service subscription. Here's your guide to how to stream "Zootopia 2" at home.
How to watch 'Zootopia 2' at home right now

"Zootopia 2" is still playing in theaters right now, despite debuting in theaters back on Nov. 26. But you don't have to trek to the cinema to watch it. Right now, you can buy or rent "Zootopia 2" from premium video-on-demand (PVOD) streaming services. It's available for purchase at Amazon, Apple TV or Fandango at Home starting at $24.99. Physical media such as 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD are also available from Amazon and other stores.
As for when you can stream it on Disney+, "Zootopia 2" will debut on Disney+ on March 11. We predicted it would come in early March, so I'm counting that as a win for us.
What is 'Zootopia 2' about?
"Zootopia 2" is a direct sequel to "Zootopia" that picks up a couple of weeks after the first movie. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are fully settled into their roles as partners on the ZPD force. But they're having arguments, bickering, and dealing with some weird cases. When a smooth-talking reptile named Gary De’Snake arrives in town, the pair are pulled into a strange case that De'Snake is involved with.
To figure out what he’s hiding, Judy and Nick are sent undercover into parts of Zootopia they’ve never explored. They soon find themselves unraveling a plot that reaches far beyond one suspect. Gary, seemingly an ally for their plight, is as unpredictable as he is charming, so he's hard to read as they work to get to the bottom of all the weird goings-on in the city.
Oh, and this time around, there may very well be a little bit more than subtle chemistry between our two favorite leads.
