Celtic and Rangers begin their Premier Sports Cup campaign next month as the two sides join those progressing from the group stage phase.
Partick Thistle join their fellow Glasgow counterparts in the next round of the competition which has already provided plenty of shocks. 2021 finalists Hibs are already out after they lost to League One side Falkirk and an administration error saw them handed a 3-0 loss against Morton. They are joined by fellow Premiership sides St Mirren and St Johnstone in heading for an early exit.
The stakes are set to be raised with the clubs participating in European football joining the race for silverware. Dundee United, Hearts and Motherwell enter at this stage alongside Celtic and Rangers, with every group stage winner joining them. The three best runners-up in this section will also progress as the competition is just two rounds away from Hampden Park. Here is everything you need to know about the draw.
