The Next sale is always an absolute bargain bonanza as shoppers clamour to get their hands on a bargain.
If you've long since had withdrawals from the Christmas sale, the good news is there's another happening. And the even better news is that's it's in the VERY near future. Every time the popular high street retailer cuts its prices, shoppers flock through the doors, intent on rifling through the rails to get the best discount.
Some stores open as early as 6am on sale days and, by the time their shutters go up, there are large queues of people lined up chomping at the bit to go shopping. Traditionally it's the Christmas and summer sales that generate the most interest and foot fall but, if you're looking to freshen up your wardrobe without breaking the bank, or looking to buy some clothes for your kids who are growing all the time, you're in luck.

Next branches across the country, including the huge new one at the Metrocentre in Gateshead, will be cutting prices for the spring sale and you'll want to be aware of when it is so you don't miss out.
When is the Next sale?
After lots of speculation in shopping groups on Facebook and on sites like HotUKDeals, it has been confirmed that the Next sale will start in store on Saturday, April 2.
Emails that have gone out to customers promise discounts of at least 50% off most sale items across the a range of different departments.
How to get a VIP slot for Next sale
To get a coveted VIP slot you will need to be a Next online account holder. This can be done by purchasing goods from the Next website.
However, if you aren't already an account holder will be too late to qualify for a slot for the spring sale as emails have already been landing in loyal shoppers' inboxes telling them when their shopping slot is.
The Next sale will start online from Thursday, March 31, with VIP shoppers given until 11.59pm on Friday, March 1 to bag an exclusive bargain before they are made available to the general public via the Next website on Saturday morning.
