When is the FA Cup third-round draw? TV details and ball numbers info as Sunderland await opponents

Sunderland will learn who they will face in the third round of the FA Cup next week on Monday, November 28. The third-round draw is set to take place on Monday evening from Anfield between 7 and 7.30pm.

The draw will be broadcast live on BBC Two, and streamed on the FA Cup's official Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. The third-round games are also slated to take place on the weekend of Saturday, 7 January.

This is the first time in four seasons that t he Black Cats have been entered into the competition in the third-round stage, following four years in League One. Last season saw them lose at the first round to Mansfield Town - the same side who beat at the same stage 12 months earlier.

In 2018, Sunderland lost 1-0 to Gillingham in a first-round replay after drawing 1-1 at the Stadium of Light, while 2018 saw a second-round exit to Walsall.
