England return to Six Nations action in a mouthwatering clash against Wales at Twickenham this weekend.
Eddie Jones’ side got their campaign underway with a disappointing 20-17 defeat to Scotland at Murrayfield before beating Italy 33-0 in Rome a fortnight ago and attack coach Martin Gleeson admits the hosts need a win to keep their Six Nations hopes alive.
"It's a big game and we're treating it like a quarter-final," he said. "It's knockout stages for us. We know Wales fight really hard and will make it really difficult for us.
"So we've got to go into this with a quarter-final mentality and go after Wales If we don't get the result on Saturday, we're out."
Centre Joe Marchant has been left out of the 25-man squad for Saturday’s match with Manu Tuilagi set to start in midfield having returned to full training.
Flanker Courtney Lawes has been retained in the squad and looks set to make his first appearance of this year’s championship after going through return-to-play protocols for a head injury while lock Joe Launchbury returns to Wasps.
