World No2 Alcaraz, meanwhile, beat fellow Spaniard Rafael Nadal in straight sets a week after the latter announced his imminent retirement from the sport.

Six Kings Slam 2024 final prize money
Each of the six players involved in the competition were guaranteed a minimum prize of $1.5million (roughly £1.15m), while the winner take home the largest prize in tennis history at $6m (roughly £4.59m).
