Netflix has confirmed the release date for its highly-anticipated series exploring the lives of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The six-part docuseries – titled Harry & Meghan – offers unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to one of the world’s most famous couples, featuring never-before-seen images and footage.
The Netflix ‘global event’ will explore the duke and duchess’ relationship from its early days to more recent times which saw them take a step back from royal life. It will include commentary from those closest to the couple – many of whom speaking publicly for the first time – as well as historians and journalists who examine Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the media, the royal family, and the wider world.
Netflix released a one-minute teaser last week ahead of the show’s release, and viewers’ reactions were mixed. Some felt it hypocritical of them to produce the series given their desire to step out of the spotlight, while others praised them for telling their story on their terms.
