""Marty Supreme," Christmas Day." That was the refrain drilled into us for Josh Safdie's electric, Timothée Chalamet-led drama in the run-up to its release, and now that day's been and gone, we can all see what's in store for Chalamet's ambitious lead in this intense sports drama — and it looks like it's on track to be a hit.
"Marty Supreme" has received rave reviews from critics (it's 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, from over 200 logged reactions), and it's already pulled in more than $28 million at the box office.
If you haven't already rushed to your nearest movie theater to see it and would prefer to watch Marty Mauser chase his dreams from the comfort of your own sofa, you're no doubt hoping to find out when you'll be able to watch "Marty Supreme" at home.
Sadly, we don't have a confirmed digital release date or a streaming release date for "Marty Supreme," I've tried to guess when you'll be able to do just that. You can find my best guess at the "Marty Supreme" streaming date below.
How to watch 'Marty Supreme' right now
"Marty Supreme" hit the big screen on Christmas Day, which means if you want to watch Josh Safdie's new release, the only way to watch it at time of writing is by heading to your nearest movie theater — and based on the movie's success, that's likely going to be the only way to see "Marty Supreme" for a while, too.
The first way to watch "Marty Supreme" at home will be by buying or renting it on Premium Video-on-Demand (PVOD) platforms like Prime Video or the Apple storefront. Typically, A24's movies come to PVOD services about a month after they hit the big screen, so you may be able to rent "Marty Supreme" from home at the end of January or maybe in early February 2026.
As I mentioned above, we currently do not have a "Marty Supreme" streaming date, though we do know that the movie will make its streaming debut on HBO Max as and when it arrives, as that's the first destination for A24 releases.
While we don't have an official streaming date right now, and based on how long we typically wait for A24 movies to come to HBO Max, I'd guess that "Marty Supreme" will be streaming on HBO Max at some point in April 2026.

That's purely based on the release pipeline of A24's recent releases. For example, "Bring Her Back" came to HBO Max on Oct. 3, after releasing on May 30 (a 127-day wait), while "Eddington" started streaming on Nov. 14, 120 days after it hit the big screen on July 18.
We've waited a little longer for other releases this year, though. For example, there was a 155-day wait for "Warfare" to stream on HBO Max on Sep. 7, and Celine Song's "Materialists" hit HBO Max on Nov. 7, 148 days after releasing in theaters on June 13.
With all that said, I'd wager we'll have at least a four-month wait for "Marty Supreme," hence the above estimate. Though just to be clear, neither Warner Bros. nor A24 has confirmed anything yet; the above is entirely my own guesswork. As and when we get an official "Marty Supreme" streaming date, I'll be sure to update this article with that news.
