Downing Street has announced that Liz Truss will hold a press conference today following days of turmoil over the controversial mini-budget, which has thrown the Conservative party into chaos.
The announcement comes as reports suggest the new Prime Minister is set to make yet another U-turn on her mini-budget.
It's expected that the PM will confirm she will go back on her plan to freeze corporation tax.
It comes after Kwasi Kwarteng was sacked as Chancellor of the Exchequer, which he confirmed in a letter signed the "Member of Parliament for Spelthorne", his constituency.
Earlier this month, Ms Truss made her first humiliating U-turn on the mini budget, abandoning plans to scrap the 45p top rate of income tax.
As it looks as though she could already be about to announce her second, here's when the prime minister will be holding her press conference today.
What time is Liz Truss' press conference?
Liz Truss will hold her press conference outside of Downing Street this afternoon.
The Prime Minister is set to address the nation at 2.30pm, half an hour later than was originally planned.
Ms Truss had proposed to ditch a planned rise to corporation tax, but reports suggest she could be changing her stance on this.
The Prime Minister and Chancellor's mini-budget has wreaked havoc on the markets since it was announced last month and has led to a revolt in the Conservative party, with some senior Tories said to be plotting Truss' replacement already.
Mr Kwarteng had been attending the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) annual meeting last night when he cut his trip to the US short to fly home for "crunch talks" with Ms Truss, landing at Heathrow this morning.
A new chancellor is yet to be announced, but political speculation seems to be that former health secretary Jeremy Hunt or ex-chancellors Nadhim Zahawi or Rishi Sunak could be back in the job.
