WBA (Regular) Featherweight champion Leigh Wood takes to the ring later this month for the second defence of his title against Mexican Mauricio Lara.

The 34-year-old currently has a record of 26 wins and two losses but will face stern competition in the form of Lara.
The Mexican has a very similar record to Wood, with 24 wins and two losses, but also has one draw against Josh Warrington. He beat the Leeds fighter in February 2021 before their September rematch was stopped in the second round after a cut to the head for Lara.
