The women’s heptathlon begins this morning, with Team GB pair Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Jade O'Dowda in action.
Not since Jessica Ennis-Hill in 2012 has a British athlete won this event, and the duo will look to emulate the Team GB great from 9.05am with the 100m hurdles heats.
All events are held over two days, with the high jump is an hour later o Thursday and then the shot put (6.35pm) and 200m (7.55pm) follow in the evening.
Friday will start with the long jump at 9.05am, followed by the javelin later in the morning.
Thge heptathlon concludes at 7.25pm on Friday, August 9, with the 800metres.
