Ever since the first season of hit Netflix show Heartstopper came to an end, viewers have been crying out for more episodes. The series, which first released in April last year, tells the story of a gay schoolboy who falls in love with his classmate.
Heartstopper is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel of the same name. The series has received critical acclaim for its faithfulness to the source material, as well as its portrayal of LGBT+ people.
Kit Connor and Joe Locke lead the cast as Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring, respectively. The series also features Yasmin Finney, who will next star in Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary specials opposite David Tennant and Catherine Tate - read more about that here.
