The FIFA 23 release date is fast approaching, but there are ways that players can access the game earlier than the release date.
EA Sports has confirmed that FIFA 23 will be released on Friday, September 30, 2022 in the UK and worldwide , with two different versions of FIFA 23 available to pre-order, the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition, both coming with pre-order bonuses.
FIFA 23 will be the final instalment of EA Sports' FIFA video game series, with both EA and FIFA confirming the end of their 30-year partnership earlier this year. EA Sports has already confirmed they will be releasing a new game called EA Sports FC next year, whilst FIFA are also exploring the idea of developing a football simulation game.
Players who pre-order or purchase the Standard Edition of FIFA 23 on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Stadia will be able to access the full game from Friday, September 30, 2022 , the UK and worldwide release date of the game. Another way for players to access FIFA 23 early is through the Web App and companion App, allowing players to access limited FIFA 23 Ultimate Team features ahead of the game's release. The FUT Web App and the FUT Companion App will give players access to the FUT 23 Transfer Market, manage their FUT 23 squad, buy packs, complete SBCs and much more.
EA are yet to confirm the release dates of the Web App and Companion App. But, based on past FIFA releases, we expect that the FIFA 23 FUT Web App will be released on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 and the FIFA 23 FUT Companion App will be released on Thursday, September 22, 2022 .
And finally, EA Play members who have pre-ordered FIFA 23 are able to access the full game three days early on a 10-hour trial. The three days of early access is much worse than in previous years for EA Play members, with FIFA 22 allowing almost 10 days of early access on their subscription service.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
