- This year’s Eurovision grand final will take place in Vienna, Austria in what will be the contest’s 70th edition.
- There are 35 countries competing in total. There are two semi-finals and these will take place on Tuesday 12 May and Thursday 14 May. The top 10 countries from each semi will make it through to the Grand Final.
- A total of 25 countries will perform in the Grand Final. The 20 that emerge from the semi-finals, the Big Four countries (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy) and hosts Austria.
- The Eurovision Grand Final will take place on Saturday 16 May. UK viewers will be able to view the contest on BBC.
- The UK entry this year is LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER who will sing Eins, Zwei, Drei.
