England's victory over Senegal at the Al Bayt Stadium has set up a quarter-final tie against France on Saturday.
Newcastle United trio Kieran Trippier, Callum Wilson and Nick Pope will be aiming to match England's performance at the 2018 World Cup by reaching the semi-finals.
Despite starting England's first two matches of the tournament, Trippier found himself on the bench, just as he was for the Three Lions' final group game, taking his place alongside his two other Magpies teammates.
After a tense opening half hour, which saw Jordan Pickford called into action, Gareth Southgate's men broke the deadlock when a low Jude Bellingham cross found Jordan Henderson in the box, with the former Sunderland man firing home.

England doubled their lead shortly before the break via skipper Harry Kane, who got on the end of a square pass from Phil Foden and blasted past Edouard Mendy. It was more of the same after the break, when Foden was again the provider, this time for Bukayo Saka, who capped a fine England move with their third goal of the evening on 57 minutes.
That was enough to secure safe passage into the quarter-finals and set up a date with France, who saw off Poland 3-1 earlier on Sunday, as none of the Newcastle United trio were called into action.

England face France/Poland at the Al Bayt Stadium on Saturday, December 10, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm in the UK.
