The summer transfer window is officially open for business with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all looking to strengthen their ranks now the season has ended.
The Gunners are hoping to add Declan Rice to Mikel Arteta's midfield options while Moises Caicedo is also on a shortlist at the Emirates Stadium. Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking to trim a bloated squad in anticipation of Mauricio Pochettino's first season in charge at Stamford Bridge while Tottenham Hotspur will be keen to give new head coach Ange Postecoglou what he needs to be successful at the club.
Clubs have been busy for the last few weeks lining up deals, agreeing fees and contracts with targets ahead of the official opening of the market today. Although the window is open in England and Scotland, clubs cannot sign players from abroad until July 1.
The summer transfer window will shut at 11pm on September 1 with club's in Europe's top five leagues also seeing their windows shut at the same time. The window will then re-open for clubs looking to strengthen their ranks in the middle of the campaign and they will be able to do so from January 1 until February 1 at 11pm.
One player who could be on the move is Kylian Mbappe, with intense speculation about his future over the past 24 hours linking him with a move to Real Madrid and Chelsea. Mbappe moved to clarify reports claiming that he wants to move to Real this summer by taking to social media platform Twitter.
In response, he wrote: "LIES...At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I am very happy." Other big-money deals could include Harry Kane to either Manchester United or Real, with the Tottenham Hotspur striker entering the final year of his contract with Postecoglou's side this summer.
