When does the transfer window open and close? Dates for Everton, Liverpool and Premier League

This summer's transfer window provides the opportunity for Everton and Liverpool to strengthen their squads ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Reds are believed to be closing in on Darwin Nunez and have been reported by the Portuguese media to be in 'advanced' talks to sign the Uruguayan striker. Meanwhile, Everton will be hoping to climb much higher this season and have targeted James Tarkowski from Burnley in a bid to shore up their defence.

Clubs will have three close to three months to secure deals this summer, compared to a single month in winter, while this is a long period of time in which to work with there is always potential for deadline day drama.
