Where was Channel 5's The Holiday filmed?
The series was filmed on the island of Malta, during April 2021 for five weeks.
Malta was in the midst of a lockdown when the cast and crew were out there filming.
Jill Halfpenny revealed that they "were in complete isolation for 14 days" when they first arrived and had to do "fittings and read throughs on Zoom".
Speaking of the experience Aidan McArdle, who plays Alistair said: "It was a pretty hard shoot because Malta was in complete lockdown, it’s tough to film during a pandemic and it was much colder than we expected it to be, but it was still amazing.
"It was so lovely to be out there - some jobs are a hard slog, but this wasn’t one of them!"
The Holiday is on Channel 5 from Tuesday, March 1 to Friday, March 4 at 9pm. You can also stream on My5.
