Love Island 2022 has finally introduced Casa Amor to the 2022 series. The annual twist, which was launched in 2017, sees the introduction of a brand new villa and twelve new contestants.
Each year Casa Amor, which translates to Love House in Spanish, splits the original Islanders up between two locations. This year the girls have headed to the new villa while the boys have remained in the main one.
The girls have been joined by six new boys, including Ronan Keating's son Jack Keating, Deji Adeniyi, Josh Samuel Le Grove, George Tasker, Samuel Agbiji and Billy Brown. While six new girls have joined the boys, among those now in the main villa are Cheyanne Kerr, Mollie Salmon, Chyna Mills, Coco Lodge, Jazmine Nichol and Summer Botwe.

The twist is often the show's biggest test as relationships are pushed to the limit. Each year dramatic scenes unfold as couples are tested and new love is found.
Following the first night of Casa Amor during the 2022 series, both Andrew, who is coupled up with Tasha, and Dami, who is coupled up with Indiyah, had their heads turned. In scenes set to air on Monday, July 4 Dami and bombshell Summer share their first kiss, as do Andrew and Coco.
After a few days seperated the Islanders must choose to stick with their current partner or choose to couple up with a new contestant, without knowing what their other half has decided. But how long does Casa Amor last?
How long does Casa Amor last on Love Island 2022?
While ITV2 bosses haven't confirmed how long Casa Amor will air, it tends to last for about four to five days. If Love Island sticks to the same pattern as in previous years then the Islanders will be making their decisions to stick or twist by the end of the week.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
