There has been plenty of uncertainty over when Premier League sides will return to action following the postponement of all fixtures over the weekend, but Liverpool will step back onto the field sooner than most when they take on their European duties this week.
The Reds last featured in their embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Serie A outfit Napoli on Wednesday (September 7) as they opened their 2022/23 UEFA Champions League campaign in Group A in the worst possible style.
But they have the chance to make amends when they return to action this week, with games against Ajax and Chelsea scheduled over the next six days, before the international break takes place at the end of the month.
