Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham could have to wait until 2023 to play their rearranged Premier League matches after all football fixtures down to Step 6 have been cancelled after Queen Elizabeth II's death yesterday.
The Premier League released a statement saying, "At a meeting this morning, Premier League clubs paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"To honour her extraordinary life and contribution to the nation, and as a mark of respect, this weekend's Premier League match round will be postponed, including Monday evening's game."

The move has seen Arsenal's match against Brentford, Chelsea's trip to Fulham and Tottenham Vs Manchester City all postponed until a further date. European matches in midweek could yet take place with Champions League and Europa League matches set to be held in London this week. That has been thrown into doubt, though, with millions of people expected to go to London during the week to pay respects to The Queen.
Next weekend's fixtures may also be cancelled, with The Queen's funeral set to be held on either Sunday, September 18 or Monday, September 19. This could mean further cancellations with police forces expected to be stretched.
Given that the schedule this season is already fuller than usual, with more matches being played in August than ever before and all midweek slots until the winter World Cup in Qatar, the wait for these matches to be played could be lengthy.
If next weekend's fixtures are cancelled, then it could be October 1 before the next league fixture, which would be Arsenal Vs Tottenham. This is due to an international break scheduled, with fixtures from Wednesday, September 22 until Wednesday, September 28, with England due to play their final two matches of the Nations League group stage.
After that, there are another six weeks of football, both domestic and European, for Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea, before the final matches before the World Cup are played on Saturday, November 12. In those six weeks between the end of the international break and the World Cup, there are already 13 fixtures leaving no room for new arrangements.
The next feasible chance for the matches cancelled from this weekend would be after the World Cup and in the new year, with January 17/18 the next opportunity due to Carabao Cup rounds and the FA Cup third round being in-between.
Although there is a chance that a free midweek could come up in the days leading up to the 17th and 18th - due to possible exits from the Carabao Cup - it is unlikely that a league match would be scheduled for those dates.
The next free slot after that is more complex - should next weekend's matches also be cancelled - with FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and European competition exits all opening up the chance of filling in another round of fixtures, but that would be team dependent.
