Arsenal are running out of time to bolster their first-team squad even further before kicking off the new Premier League season against Crystal Palace.
Now, whilst the summer transfer window closes in a month's time, there's another upcoming deadline that Gunners manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu are surely keeping in mind as it could have a major impact should they make a sixth signing in the coming days.
And that is the player registration deadline. At the moment, Arsenal's five summer signings in Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko will all be eligible to make their competitive debuts against Palace on Friday night, provided they are available for selection.
