In Soapland, there's never a dull moment and Christmas 2022 will be no different. Much like in previous years, there's lots going on in Albert Square, Weatherfield and the Yorkshire Dales over the festive season.
EastEnders' Christmas episodes are set to see the departure of Danny Dyer's Mick Carter, who has appeared on the BBC One soap opera since 2014. Meanwhile, over on Coronation Street, Tyrone Dobbs has planned a surprise wedding for Fiz Stape - will all go to plan? And whilst Emmerdale's Christmas storyline remains tightly under wraps, viewers should expect to see the culmination of the ongoing cover-up of Kyle Winchester's guilt in Al Chapman's murder case.
But when are the soaps on over Christmas? Here's the schedule this year. You can get more TV news and other story updates straight to your inbox by subscribing to our newsletters here.
