It’s awards season and on Monday night football’s world governing body will crown its best men’s and women’s players of the last year in the appropriately named The Best Fifa Football Awards.

Robert Lewandowski won the men’s award last year and is once again among the nominees, alongside recent Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi and Liverpool’s Mo Salah.
