Uruguay defeated Namibia in Lyon to earn their first Rugby World Cup pool victory and deny the African team its first tournament victory.
After outperforming France to deprive the hosts a bonus-point victory and leading at the half against Italy, Uruguay entered the match as the favourite.
The victory is Uruguay's fourth at a World Cup, and they will play New Zealand in their last pool game today.
