Apple's new HomeView uses facial recognition to turn a shared household screen into a personalised display for up to six people, while keeping individual content separate from the rest of the household.

Announced on 13 October 2026, the device can sit on a tabletop or be mounted on a wall, including in a hallway or entrance. It combines video calls, music, messaging and smart home controls in a screen designed for shared use. Its defining feature is the ability to adapt its display to the person using it.
