The presenter joined BBC Breakfast in February 2022 after appearing regularly for years, replacing Louise Minchin as one of the show’s main hosts.
She co-hosts the show on Mondays and Wednesdays with Dan Walker, who recently announced he is set to leave to join Channel 5, while Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt present on Thursdays and Fridays.

Born on The Wirral, she went to the University of Huddersfield where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts and French, and began her career at BBC Radio Merseyside.
She went on to become a sports presenter at BBC North West Tonight, and had been freelancing on BBC Breakfast since 2011 before stepping into the role of co-host.
In 2020, Sally hosted a series of interviews and BBC documentaries.
