Kylian Mbappe struck twice as France booked a place in the World Cup knockout stage with a 2-1 win over Denmark on Saturday.
The PSG superstar was once again the star of the game with two close-range finishes – his winner coming four minutes from time. Denmark, who had beaten France twice in the Nations League this year, fell behind after 61 minutes but soon levelled through Andreas Christensen.
But Mbappe secured all three points for France, who have become the first team to book their place into the last 16.

Spurs captain Hugo Lloris once again started the match and produced a few fine saves to keep the Danes at bay. Of course, in the Denmark side was Lloris' Spurs teammate Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The midfielder did his best to stamp his authority on the match, and at one stage led a counter-attack which resulted in a Andreas Cornelius shot. Hojbjerg will now be hoping Denmark can get a result against Australia on Wednesday to join Lloris in the last 16.
After France's 2-1 win over Denmark, Spurs fans may have noticed a nice embrace between Lloris and Hojbjerg. At the full-time whistle, the pair were seen giving each other a hug, with Lloris seemingly whispering something in his teammate's ear.
It was a nice moment between the Spurs duo and shows that even in Qatar the north London chemistry is never too far away.
