Tom Brady Cristiano Ronaldo NFL Manchester United Piers Morgan Erik ten Hag Sancho

Tom Brady has officially announced his retirement from the NFL - and it seems like it's for real this time.

Brady had announced that he was leaving the sport last year, but reversed his decision only a few days later. Considered by many to be the greatest of all time - or the GOAT of American Football - the 45-year-old has won seven Superbowls, more than any other player or even team.

But now in a video posted to social media, the legendary quarterback has seemingly announced that he is quitting the sport for real this time. In an emotional video, he said: "I'm retiring - for good. know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I'd just press record and let you guys know first.
