What to watch tonight: Every new movie and show added to Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video and more streaming services (Aug. 6)

When it comes to deciding what to watch, it can get overwhelming. Fast. There are so many streaming services out there. Even if you keep it to just the best streaming services, there are dozens of new shows and movies added every day.

Lucky for you, it's my job to know exactly what's out there. So I've compiled essentially a TV guide on what to watch tonight.

I've gone through everything from Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, etc. I've scoured the best free streaming services like Tubi. I've even added some movies you might have missed in theaters that are finally available to buy or rent to stream at home.

So let's dive into it. Here are all the new movies and shows (and live events) you can stream tonight (August 6), and where to watch them.

'My Life with the Walter Boys' season 3 (Netflix)

Genre: Teen drama series

What's it about? "My Life with the Walter Boys" stars Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie Howard. She's been orphaned, so she leaves Manhattan and starts over in Colorado with the Walters. But as if the culture shock wasn't bad enough, the Walters have seven boys, and they come with plenty of drama.

Why you need to watch it: If you thought this show would manage to avoid "Game of Thrones" comparisons, I have bad news. In season 2, Nikki, who had been dating Alex Walter (Ashby Gentry), declared her feelings for Cole, another Walter brother. But if you can get past the Targaryen-esque love triangle, people do seem to love this coming-of-age drama.

'Monsters of God' (HBO Max)

Genre: Docuseries

What's it about? "Monsters of God" is adapted from Bryan Christy's nonfiction book "The Lizard King: The True Crimes and Passions of the World's Greatest Reptile Smugglers." It focuses on the dangerous (and illegal) world of getting rare reptiles into the hands of those who want them.

Why you should watch it: This new docuseries comes from Eric V. Goode. If that name is familiar, there's a reason. He's also the man behind "Tiger King" and "Chimp Crazy." He's the best of the best when it comes to these documentary shows, and this one has already won an award.

'Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour' (Paramount+)

Genre: Music documentary movie

What's it about? "Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour" is an immersive concert film. It's not just an all-access pass to the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, though. It's also a behind-the-scenes look at the pop star's life.

Why you should watch it: The real selling point of this documentary is that it's co-directed by Billie Eilish and James Freaking Cameron (full legal name, we checked). That's a combo you don't want to miss out on.
