The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 7 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing time designations before Sunday’s showdown with the Denver Broncos.
Here’s everything to know from Week 7’s first injury report:
— Only one player on the 53-man roster — linebacker De’Vondre Campbell — was unavailable to practice on Wednesday. He’s still dealing with an ankle injury and was described by Matt LaFleur as “doubtful” to play Sunday. Isaiah McDuffie would start again if Campbell can’t go.
— The power of the bye week: The Packers removed cornerback Jaire Alexander, receiver Christian Watson, right tackle Zach Tom, right guard Jon Runyan Jr., safety Rudy Ford, tight end Luke Musgrave and cornerback Carrington Valentine from the injury report completely to start Week 7. This team is getting healthy after a difficult five-game stretch to open the year.
— While Campbell wasn’t available Wednesday, fellow linebacker Quay Walker was, albeit in a limited capacity. He left the Packers’ loss to the Raiders with a knee injury but appears on track to play Sunday.
— Running back Aaron Jones remained on the injury report as a limited participant, but he’s getting closer and closer to finally shaking his Week 1 hamstring injury. The key now is making sure there are no setbacks between now and Sunday.
— Like Walker, safety Darnell Savage (calf) exited the Packers’ loss in Las Vegas but was able to return to practice Wednesday, suggesting he’ll be fine to play Sunday.
— Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt was limited with a new knee injury. It’s unclear when this injury happened, but it’s worth monitoring. The Packers can’t afford to lose him up front on defense.
— Left guard Elgton Jenkins is still limited with a knee injury, but the fact he practiced after returning against the Raiders is a good sign that he’s still recovering and didn’t have a setback in Las Vegas.
— Cornerback Eric Stokes was limited. He’s still on the PUP but could be activated before Sunday to make his season debut.
— Safety Zayne Anderson (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity. He still hasn’t made his Packers debut after missing the last four games.
— The Broncos were without tight end Greg Dulcich, who has a hamstring injury. For reference, the Broncos had two players who were either non-participants or limited on Wednesday; the Packers had seven. But as of now, only Campbell appears to be in serious danger of not playing Sunday.
