What to know from Packers’ first injury report of Week 15 vs. Seahawks

The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 15 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing status designations before Sunday night’s showdown with the Seattle Seahawks.

Here’s everything to know from the Packers’ first injury report of Week 15:

Who didn’t participate?

Only rookie defensive back Javon Bullard, who injured his ankle in Detroit. Coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that the team believes Bullard is more “week to week,” but it’s clear he’s in danger of missing Sunday night.

Any new injuries to know?

Bullard has the ankle, rookie safety Evan Williams is in concussion protocol and defensive end Lukas Van Ness has a new thumb injury but was a full participant on Wednesday. Rookie offensive lineman Travis Glover was limited with an illness. The Packers managed to come out of a 12-day stretch featuring three games without any significant injuries.

Who are the injured players to watch this week?

Cornerback Jaire Alexander and receiver Romeo Doubs were full participants and could return this week (though Doubs is still in concussion protocol), cornerback Corey Ballentine and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper returned as limited participants and even Williams was able to participate in some capacity despite being in concussion protocol. Tight end Luke Musgrave was designated to return from injured reserve — he was limited on Wednesday.

Anyone removed from the injury report?

Running back Josh Jacobs, left guard Elgton Jenkins, tight end John FitzPatrick and defensive end Colby Wooden were all removed after showing up on last week’s report.

What’s to know from Seahawks injury report?

The Seahawks listed an incredible 17 players, although six were rest related and three others are designated to return from injured reserve. And six of the 17 were full participants. Who didn’t practice Wednesday? Cornerback Tre Brown, linebacker Ernest Jones IV, receiver Tyler Lockett, linebacker Boye Mafe, nose tackle Jarran Reed, safety Derrick Reed II, guard Lake Tomlinson, running back Kenneth Walker III and defensive end Leonard Williams. Expect many to return in some capacity on Thursday. Walker is the big one to watch — the Seahawks’ top running back has a calf injury and missed last week.
