The Boston Celtics have announced their preseason schedule. They will play two games in Abu Dhabi, two games at the TD Garden, and one in Toronto. Joe Mazzulla’s team will likely be looking to assert their dominance early, as they aim to find any potential avenue to generating momentum following a dominant 2023-24 season.
Three of Boston’s five games will come against contending teams. Both games in Abu Dhabi will be against the Denver Nuggets, who won the 2023 NBA championship. One of the games in Boston will be against the Philadelphia 76ers, who added Paul George to their roster during the opening weeks of the offseason.
During a recent episode of the “How ‘Bout Them Celtics” podcast, hosts Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance discussed the Celtics preseason schedule before sharing their thoughts and expectations on the five-game slate.
