What Titans’ Vrabel, Carthon said about controversial Day 2 picks

The Tennessee Titans had quite the interesting (and frustrating) day on Friday when the team made a pair of head-scratching moves on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL draft when they selected Will Levis and Tyjae Spears.

As if those picks weren’t questionable enough in and of themselves, bear in mind the Titans traded up for Levis and completely avoided their biggest need coming into this draft overall to grab those players.

The team has yet to address its biggest weakness all offseason long, which is unfathomable after what happened last season. Hopefully the team addresses it on Day 3, but the longer the Titans wait, the bigger the crapshoot it becomes.

Head coach Mike Vrabel and general manager Ran Carthon touched on the troubling situation following the conclusion of Day 2 and their answers weren’t acceptable to say the least. You can check out their quotes on the topic right here.

Now, a look at what Carthon and Vrabel had to say about the picks of Levis and Spears on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL draft.
