The final episode of The Apprentice 2022 will air on BBC One tonight [Thursday, March 24] and crown its series 16 winner. It's been a long time coming after the programme was cancelled two years in a row due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The show's return has been a pretty eventful one with this year's candidates boarding a cruise ship in Portsmouth, negotiating fishy waters in Cornwall, and taking on an adventurous brief to boost Welsh tourism which saw Karren Brady and the contestants take on Europe's longest zip wire. This year there is an all female-final as Kathryn Burn and Harpreet Kaur prepare to take on one last task with the help of this year's fired contestants. Over an intensive three-day challenge they will have to launch their companies by creating branding, a billboard campaign and shooting an advert before presenting it to industry experts and Lord Alan Sugar. When is The Apprentice final?
The Apprentice final airs Thursday, March 24 at 9pm on BBC One, followed by You’re Hired on BBC Two. Viewers can watch live and on-demand on BBC iPlayer.
It will see either Kathryn or Harpreet win a £250,000 investment in their business should they win Lord Sugar's approval. 16 candidates took part in the series this year, you can see the full list of contestants here.
The last winner on The Apprentice was Carina Lepore in 2019. The artisan bakery boss said she was in "euphoric relief" after securing the £250,000 investment.
